Brunswick Golf Trail is a new and innovative golf course that features nineteen trails in Brunswick County and the very northern tip of Horry County. The trail also features three package and accommodation providers as well as some restaurants and local attractions. The desirable location literally stretches along the coast of North Carolina. The trail has over 414 challenging holes that appeal both the novice and the pro of golfers.

The golf paradise has been bestowed with a number of honorable mentions such as being listed in Golf’s Digest list of “America’s Top Greatest Public Courses” includes three of the Trail’s courses. They have also received four star ratings. The Trail has a variety of different stops and courses.

The Bald Head Island Club which was named as one of the top fifty golf courses in Myrtle Beach is the northernmost course on the Trail. Architect George Cobb can be credited with the design. Tourists and golfers can get to the island by way of a twenty minute ferry from Southpart, North Carolina across the Cape Fear River. Once on the island you can expected to see magnificent waterfront views and charming sandy dunes.

Other stops along the Trail include Lockwood Folly Country Club, Rivers Edge, Ocean Ridge Plantation and Lion’s Paw. Whatever golf course you choose you can expect to have a great experience that you won’t find at any other golf course in the area. The courses are set up for the different angles of the golfer. You can choose something that is challenging or something that is more suitable for a novice. There are plenty of golfing tips and services around the Trail that include Putting with a Purpose, Be a Swinger, Not a Hitter and Use the Correct Part of the Golf Club. The golfer will never be in a shortage of help that is always available to serve the golfers. One of the things that makes the Trail stand out from other golf trails in North Carolina and all over the U.S is the deliberate and intricate design of each course. Each course is different from the other and that reflects in the overall experience the trail provides for the golfers. All of the courses are also very close to each other which are linked together by an actual trail. You could quite possible squeeze thirty six holes in your day as you embark along the trail.
