Golf World "14 Trail Courses are Best in the Nation"

Fourteen Trail Courses Are Among The Best Courses In the Nation, Says Golf World's 2010 Readers Choice Awards.

The Brunswick Isles Golf Trail offers great values and great golf, according to Golf World magazine readers. They ranked 14 Brunswick Isles Golf Trail courses among the best golf experiences in the nation in the 2010 Golf World Readers Choice Awards. The Awards were published in the September 28 edition of the magazine.

The Awards are based on 46,000 votes by readers who ranked courses on a 100 point scale that awarded points for key criteria like course quality, conditioning, practice facilities  and overall value. 

The three courses at Sea Trail Plantation, the four at Ocean Ridge Plantation, Glen Dornoch, Heather Glen, Oyster Bay Golf Links, Thistle Golf Club, Bald Head Island Club, Rivers Edge and Tidewater all received more than 75 points to make the "State by State Recognition" list.

Of the 85  North Carolina and South Carolina golf course facilities named to the prestigious "State By State Recognition" list, 14 of them are on the Brunswick Isles Golf Trail.
